CONCEPTUAL PHOTOGRAPHY
I want to introduce you to one of my favourite conceptual photographers. Her name is Marina Gondra and her work consists in creating stories through her images. She maintains that her camera and Photoshop are her greatest allies. "Photography has been the best hobby I could ever have during my adolescence. I never thought that what I like doing the most in my life could end up being my way of life. Until now. I can say that I dedicate to photography by pure passion, because I cannot live without it, and it would be really difficult being happy without a camera between my hands."
Through her images you can dare to daydream, dive into the best of your dreams or your worst nightmares, and laugh again as a child.
"Some say that my photographs are childish, and I say to them there’s nothing purer and more creative creative than the mind of a child. I wish we’d never grow up."
Travels with Love
I am very fortunate every once in a while to get to spend some quality time with my family and to occasionally travel with my parents. This last trip we made in the late fall from Alberta, Canada to Phoenix, USA with some gorgeous scenery along the way. If you haven't yet had a chance, do pencil it into your schedule to go to see the southern part of Utah / northern part of Arizona. The scenery is breathtakingly beautiful....and the company I had was world class.
